50’s Discipleship Group:
The 50’s Discipleship Group meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM to study God’s Word. The goal of each of our sessions is to celebrate what God is doing in our lives and share any special needs that requier prayer. Typically, we then acknowledge any birthdays or anniversaries of our members. After these prelinineraries, we begin studying God’s Word, directly from the Bible. No Bible question is too abstract. We can sometimes spend the majority of our time discussing one thought or idea.
Our group enjoys spending time together outside of our meeting time on Sunday. In the past, we have met at various local restaurants and in members homes enjoying each other’s company and having fun with one another. These events continue to draw us closer together as Brothers & Sisters in Christ.
We look for service projects we can do together as a class. We have supplied backpacks and school supplies for children who might not otherwise have had school supplies. When we hear of friends of members who are having struggles and hardships, we help in any way we can. Recently, we compiled a church cookbook offering various recipes from our excellent cooks here at Trinity. We are using the proceeds of this endeavour for missions and various benevolent works.
We would love for you to come and visit with our group. We promise you will be treated like family as you grow in your Christian faith.
